It’s hard to believe it has already been one year since the opening of our Van Buren Dialysis Center on August 10, 2021. Being able to offer In-Center Hemodialysis in the Van Buren community is a convenience for those patients that have to travel for dialysis services because of our close proximity to Interstate 40.
We asked several patients: “What do you like most about the Van Buren Dialysis Center?” the responses were consistent: “The Staff”, “They are compassionate and caring for every patient.” “The facility is top notch, wonderful, and a true blessing to go there for dialysis.”
Currently we have 85 patients with a capacity to treat 104 patients.
Many people are not aware that kidney diseases are a leading cause of death in the United States and that 37 million US adults are estimated to have chronic kidney disease (CKD), and most are undiagnosed. While volumes of information can be found about CKD, we must do our part to keep our kidneys healthy and functioning properly in order to maintain good health. You can visit CDC’s website to learn more about CKD: https://www.cdc.gov/kidneydisease/basics.html
